What does “Stoned” mean?
The state of being high. Originating in the 1940s, it evokes the idea of being knocked unconscious with stones. Modern cannabis use is, generally, more pleasant than that. While not as intense as being bouldered, being stoned suggests an altered state of mind, so driving or operating heavy machinery is out of the question. However, it's great for ordering takeout and hanging with your buds.Example usage:
“Wow, I'm so stoned right now, that blunt was huge!”
