California Unveils State-Certified Organic Cannabis Plan

The California Department of Food and Agriculture has unveiled its proposal for certifying organic cannabis products where the federal government, due to prohibition, cannot.
Organic growing practices are used in the cannabis industry but since the word is federally regulated technically no cannabis is certified organic. Organic farming supports ecological sustainability and many cannabis farmers opt for ‘Clean Green Certification’ as a way to showcase their sustainability and clean growing efforts.
