Cannabis Included on NFL ‘Restricted List’ for Super Bowl Ads

The NFL has included cannabis in its restricted category for Super Bowl advertisements; the ban applies to all ads, even in states with legalization policies in place.
The current NFL cannabis rules are strictly against player use of the plant despite the rampant brain injuries and other chronic pains that plague them. In 2019 NFL representatives have made it clear that they’re rethinking these policies as CBD and other treatments show effective for NFL players.
