Lawmakers in the Kentucky Senate have approved a proposal to cap the THC content in hemp-derived infused beverages at 5%.
There is a rich history of hemp cultivation dating back to 1775 in Kentucky. Now, all cannabis products but CBD oil are illegal in the Southern US state.
