Many operators frame their portfolios around this. A common structure treats distillate as an entry product, live resin as a mid-tier, and solventless as the premium line. Larger producers face a different equation: commercial agitators, mechanical separators, and freeze-driers, plus the facility infrastructure to support them.

Because the process runs cold and consumes significant ice and water, many extractors say solventless makes the most sense in a purpose-built lab rather than a retrofit. As you scale, think about repeatable yield, batch consistency, and compliance workflows early, since retrofitting a room for temperature and water service after the fact is far more expensive than planning for it.
