Job Description
Golden Piedmont Labs is a Virginia-based extractor of crude Cannabinoid oil and full-and broad-spectrum distillate from high-quality hemp. GPL is looking for a results-driven sales representative with proven experience in the CBD raw ingredient industry to actively seek out and engage prospective buyers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating revenue from prospective clients.
- Candidates must have demonstrated success in generating revenue.
- You must be comfortable with outbound (cold) calling.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Supply team with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Skills
- Consultative selling expertise (you have sold complex products or services).
- Sales experience in the cannabis industry, specifically raw CBD ingredients (experience in nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical, and/or food and beverage industry a plus).
- Familiarity and discipline with sales (CRM) technology.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Working knowledge of Consumer-Packaged Goods
- Reliable work from home infrastructure
Experience
- Sales: 3 years (Required)
- Customer Service: 3 years (Preferred)
- CBD/Hemp Industry: 3 years (Required)
